糖尿病性末梢神経障害・膀胱機能障害に関する論文にて博士号取得。糖尿病・動脈硬化関連の論文、排尿障害・泌尿器癌の論文多数あり。また，国内，国際学会でのシンポジストとしての経験も豊富です。
糖尿病性末梢神経障害治療薬の創薬にも関わり国際特許も取得しております。難治性過活動膀胱に対して本邦初のボツリヌス毒素を用いた治療を行い、症例数も多く経験しております。
